Information you provide
Your email, display name, private trip logs, account favorites, and alert settings are stored in Supabase to provide the account features you request. Trip contents remain private to your account. The site owner can see your account contact information, status, signup and sign-in dates, and counts of saved items for support. Password-reset requests, suspensions, and restorations are recorded in a restricted support history. Do not enter sensitive personal information in free-text fields.
Account usage analytics
For signed-in accounts, we record daily visits and categories of feature use, such as viewing alerts or saving a trip. Repeated use on the same day is counted once per category. The site owner sees aggregate usage trends; tracking contains no trip notes, private fishing locations, full page addresses, IP addresses, or browser fingerprints. Daily activity records are retained for 13 months and are removed when an account is deleted. Guests and administrator activity are excluded from these usage metrics.
Guest favorites and security
If you save a fishing spot without signing in, the spot ID is kept for up to one year in an HTTP-only cookie on that device. Signing in merges those favorites into your account and removes the guest cookie. Cloudflare Turnstile may process technical request information when protecting signup and password-recovery forms from abuse.
Live river and guide data
River conditions come from public agencies. Guide ratings and reviews may be supplied by Google Maps Platform. Google’s use of information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. Facebook Page embeds are loaded from Meta and may set or read cookies according to Meta’s Privacy Policy.
